Responsibility
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to standardized recipes and special dietary requirements.
- Ensure all food items are stored, handled, and presented in compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain efficient workflow during peak service hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to minimize waste and control costs.
- Adapt recipes and portion sizes based on guest feedback and seasonal ingredient availability.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free kitchen environment at all times.
- Participate in menu development and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
- Follow all company policies, including food safety (HACCP) and workplace safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Cook in a hotel, resort, or fine-dining restaurant.
- Proven ability to prepare a variety of cuisines, with expertise in Indonesian or Asian dishes preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen equipment operation.
- Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a plus; basic Indonesian is beneficial.
- Culinary certification or formal training from a recognized institution is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
