Responsibility
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to standardized recipes and special orders.
- Assist in menu development and contribute creative ideas for seasonal specials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment during peak service hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the kitchen manager.
- Adhere to portion control and waste reduction practices to optimize cost efficiency.
- Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience.
- Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities to enhance culinary skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cook, Line Cook, or similar role in a restaurant or hotel kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and consistency.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Familiarity with Indonesian and international cuisines is a plus.
- Certification in food safety and hygiene (e.g., HACCP) is preferred.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy kitchen supplies (up to 20 kg).
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
