Responsibility
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to standardized recipes and special orders.
- Ensure all meals are presented with high-quality plating and attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen in compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking ingredient stock and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop seasonal menus and special promotions.
- Monitor food preparation methods, cooking times, and temperatures to ensure consistency.
- Adhere to HACCP and sanitation protocols to guarantee food safety.
- Support in training and guiding junior kitchen staff when required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cook or Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian and international cuisines, with a passion for culinary innovation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen while maintaining composure.
- Excellent knife skills, food preparation techniques, and understanding of flavor profiles.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, hygiene standards).
- Team player with strong communication and time-management skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Culinary school diploma or relevant certification is a plus.
