Responsibility
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff in the preparation of meals, including chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Support the plating and presentation of dishes to ensure high-quality service.
- Receive and store food supplies, ensuring proper inventory management and rotation.
- Operate kitchen equipment and tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations for service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and timely meal service during peak hours.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency in food quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment (entry-level candidates with a strong passion for cooking will also be considered).
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
