Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor to all showroom visitors.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, countertops, and seating.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and report shortages to management.
- Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and process payments accurately.
- Educate customers about our coffee blends, brewing methods, and pairing suggestions.
- Collaborate with the showroom team to ensure seamless integration of café services with furniture displays.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista (minimum 1-2 years) in a café, hotel, or high-end retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso, pour-over, and cold brew.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Certification in food safety or barista training (e.g., SCA) is highly advantageous.
- Passion for customer service and a desire to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
