Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages (espresso, latte, cappuccino, etc.) and other drinks to the highest standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and personalized customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including countertops, equipment, and storage spaces.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and report shortages to management.
- Educate customers about our menu offerings, including coffee origins, brewing methods, and pairing suggestions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role in the hospitality industry is a plus (training provided for motivated candidates).
- Strong passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about different brewing techniques and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., coffee bags, milk crates).
