Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages, pour-overs, and specialty drinks with consistency and artistry.
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions, and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and café areas in compliance with hygiene standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours, including cash handling and POS system use.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new brewing techniques, menu items, and customer service best practices.
- Uphold the brand’s reputation by delivering exceptional service and representing the company’s values in every interaction.
- Assist in promotional activities, such as coffee tastings or events, to enhance customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role in cafés, hotels, or hospitality (fresh graduates with passion are welcome!).
- Strong knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods (e.g., V60, Aeropress, French Press), and milk steaming techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification in coffee (e.g., SCA) or food safety is a plus but not required.
- Passion for coffee culture and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
