Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering inquiries about menu items.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Assist in training new staff members on coffee preparation techniques, customer service, and café operations.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately while providing excellent service.
- Contribute to creating a positive and inviting atmosphere that enhances the customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, milk steaming, and latte art techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team player with a collaborative attitude and a willingness to support colleagues.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Passion for coffee and a desire to continuously improve your craft.
