Responsibility
- Sort, inspect, and distribute clean linens to various departments within the hotel.
- Maintain accurate inventory of all linen supplies and report any shortages or damages.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment, ensuring all machines are in good working condition.
- Follow strict hygiene and sanitation standards to ensure all linens meet the hotel’s quality expectations.
- Assist in folding, ironing, and storing linens according to established procedures.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely delivery of linens.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling laundry chemicals and equipment.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices in linen management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry, or a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move heavy loads of linens (up to 20-25 kg).
- Basic knowledge of laundry equipment and chemical safety is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to standard operating procedures.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
