Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, seating area, and storage areas.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and notify management when restocking is needed.
- Educate customers about different coffee blends, brewing methods, and menu options to enhance their coffee experience.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
