Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, and specialty drinks, adhering to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and repeat business.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including grinders, espresso machines, and brewers, to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.
- Collaborate with the team to manage inventory, restock supplies, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Educate customers about our coffee offerings, brewing methods, and the unique flavors of our beans.
- Handle cash transactions and POS system operations accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of light food items, such as pastries or sandwiches, to complement our coffee menu.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new coffee trends, techniques, and customer service best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, equipment, and beverage preparation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is a plus.
