Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages according to standardized recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Accurately record daily production outputs and inventory levels in compliance with company procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace, including equipment, counters, and storage areas.
- Follow health, safety, and food handling regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the Central Kitchen team to fulfill bulk orders and support other departments as needed.
- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies, and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Provide exceptional internal customer service to kitchen staff and external partners with professionalism.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume or central kitchen setting.
- In-depth knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso preparation, and milk steaming.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain consistency in product quality.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially in maintaining cleanliness and adhering to hygiene standards.
- Basic numeracy skills for tracking production and inventory.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., coffee bags).
