Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and personalized customer service to enhance the guest experience.
- Operate and maintain café equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and blenders, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments using POS systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing café environment, including restocking supplies and sanitizing workstations.
- Educate customers on menu items, including coffee origins, brewing methods, and food pairings.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and a solution-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a bonus.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about brewing techniques, latte art, and café operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a natural ability to engage with customers and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move items up to 10 kg.
