Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages (espresso, latte, cappuccino, cold brew, etc.) with consistency and excellence.
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring a memorable experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and service areas in compliance with hygiene standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and assist with restocking as needed.
- Collaborate with the team to develop seasonal drink specials and promote new menu items.
- Operate cash registers, handle payments, and manage daily sales reports accurately.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and industry best practices to enhance service quality.
- Assist in training new staff members on coffee preparation, customer service, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role (preferably in cafés, hotels, or hospitality).
- Passion for coffee and a strong desire to learn and master brewing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment (training provided for advanced tools).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
