Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, and specialty drinks, adhering to established recipes and standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly, professional, and attentive approach to every guest.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace, including equipment, tools, and inventory.
- Educate customers about coffee origins, brewing methods, and menu offerings to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations during peak hours.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage the POS system accurately.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new coffee trends, techniques, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewing methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for coffee culture and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer literacy is a plus.
