Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, adhering to high-quality standards.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment, countertops, and storage areas, to ensure a hygienic and efficient operation.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Educate customers about different coffee blends, brewing methods, and the origin of beans to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately, providing receipts and change as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
- Stay updated on the latest coffee trends, techniques, and equipment to continuously improve your skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry, with a strong passion for coffee.
- In-depth knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods, and milk-steaming techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory.
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification in barista training or coffee education (e.g., SCA) is highly desirable.
