Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, and specialty matcha, following Omore Coffee’s standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café environment, including workstations, seating areas, and restrooms.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, including coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and report stock needs to the management team.
- Process customer payments efficiently using POS systems, handle cash transactions, and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations during peak hours and special events.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and product knowledge to enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation methods, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and manual brewing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and POS operations.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Passion for coffee culture and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in food and beverage service is a plus.
