Responsibility
- Provide impeccable table service during banquets, weddings, and corporate events, adhering to luxury hospitality standards.
- Collaborate with the Catering Manager to plan and execute event logistics, including setup, service flow, and breakdown.
- Ensure all dining areas are meticulously prepared with proper table settings, linens, and decor as per event specifications.
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism and efficiency, anticipating guest needs and preferences.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge regarding menu items, ingredients, and special dietary requirements.
- Assist in coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Handle guest inquiries and special requests with courtesy and discretion, resolving any issues promptly.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in all service areas, including proper handling of food and beverages.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a waiter in banquet, fine dining, or luxury hospitality settings.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with managers, chefs, and fellow staff.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate event schedules.
- Familiarity with banquet service protocols, including silver service, buffet setup, and wine service (a plus).
- Impeccable grooming and professional appearance, aligning with luxury hospitality standards.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/carry trays or equipment as needed.
