Responsibility
- Operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine inspections and quality checks to verify product specifications and compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical or technical issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace to uphold workplace safety.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Document production data, including output, defects, and maintenance activities, for reporting and analysis.
- Assist in the setup and calibration of equipment for new production runs or process adjustments.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) as a Production Technician, Machine Operator, or Quality Control Technician in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects (up to 20-25 kg).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or ISO standards is a plus.
