Responsibility
- Operate and monitor gas production equipment to ensure optimal performance and output.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime.
- Follow strict safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations for gas handling and processing.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform minor repairs to maintain continuous operations.
- Document production data, including output levels, quality metrics, and equipment status.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and quality standards.
- Assist in the setup, calibration, and testing of new equipment or processes.
- Participate in shift handover meetings to ensure seamless transitions and communication.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the gas, oil, or petrochemical industry.
- Familiarity with industrial machinery, control systems, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (OHS) is a plus.
