As a key member of our team, you will oversee daily production activities, optimize workflows, and mentor staff to meet and exceed performance targets. Your expertise will directly contribute to delivering world-class optical products that meet stringent industry standards.
Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily production operations to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality optical components.
- Lead, train, and motivate production teams to achieve performance targets and maintain high productivity levels.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, quality control standards, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Monitor production schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and resolve bottlenecks to optimize workflow.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery, tools, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, logistics) to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Prepare and present production reports, including KPIs, output metrics, and areas for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, enhance quality, and lower operational costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Diploma holders with extensive experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing, preferably in optics, precision engineering, or electronics.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, quality assurance (QA), and ISO standards.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process optimization.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and Six Sigma/Lean methodologies is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations.
