Responsibility
- Assist production planners in developing and maintaining production schedules to meet customer demand.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, logistics, and quality assurance, to align production goals.
- Prepare reports and presentations on production metrics, capacity utilization, and schedule adherence.
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency.
- Participate in daily/weekly planning meetings and contribute insights to optimize workflows.
- Assist in troubleshooting production delays and proposing corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Diploma program in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across departments.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Basic understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma concepts is advantageous.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Malay or Mandarin is a bonus.
