This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless production operations, material readiness, and on-time delivery for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. Based in Badung, Bali, you will play a key role in coordinating cross-functional teams to meet production targets while maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced, high-tech industry.
As a Production Planner, you will leverage your expertise in supply chain and production scheduling to optimize workflows, minimize downtime, and drive operational efficiency. Your ability to analyze production data, forecast material requirements, and collaborate with engineering, procurement, and logistics teams will be critical to our success. Responsibility
- Develop and maintain production schedules for NPI projects, ensuring alignment with customer demand and internal capacity.
- Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and resources.
- Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to meet delivery deadlines.
- Generate and analyze production reports to track KPIs, including yield, cycle time, and on-time delivery performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or excesses.
- Support the transition of new products from prototyping to full-scale production, ensuring smooth ramp-up phases.
- Communicate production status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, preferably in semiconductor, electronics, or high-precision manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and production scheduling tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis) and other planning software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
