As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for strategically coordinating production schedules, ensuring seamless workflow between departments, and maintaining optimal stock levels of finished goods. Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for finished goods and sub-assemblies to align with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
- Monitor and optimize finished goods (FG) stock levels to ensure cost-efficiency while preventing stockouts or excess inventory.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to synchronize material availability, labor allocation, and machine capacity.
- Analyze production data and KPIs to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Coordinate with sales and customer service to adjust production plans based on real-time demand changes or urgent orders.
- Implement and maintain MRP/ERP systems to streamline planning, tracking, and reporting of production activities.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies in all planning and execution phases.
- Generate regular reports on production performance, inventory turnover, and lead times for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production planning, inventory control, or supply chain coordination, preferably in manufacturing or medical devices.
- Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Just-in-Time (JIT) principles is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian is beneficial but not required.
