Responsibility
- Conduct thorough visual, electrical, and functional inspections of electronic components to detect counterfeit or non-conforming parts.
- Utilize specialized testing equipment (e.g., X-ray, microscopy, or spectral analysis) to verify component authenticity and compliance with industry standards.
- Document inspection results, discrepancies, and corrective actions in detailed reports for internal and client review.
- Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to investigate supplier-related quality issues and implement preventive measures.
- Stay updated on emerging counterfeit trends, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices in electronic component authentication.
- Assist in developing and refining QC protocols to enhance detection accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff or cross-functional teams on counterfeit detection methodologies.
- Support audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to ISO, AS9100, or other relevant quality management systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Quality Management, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome.
- Basic knowledge of electronic components, PCB assembly, or semiconductor manufacturing is a plus.
- Familiarity with quality control tools (e.g., calipers, multimeters, oscilloscopes) and testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical specifications and identify anomalies.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); additional language skills are advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications in IPC-A-610, ISO 9001, or counterfeit detection are highly desirable.
