Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products while optimizing resource utilization.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to align material availability with manufacturing demands.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement just-in-time (JIT) strategies to minimize excess stock and reduce carrying costs.
- Analyze production capacity and identify bottlenecks, proposing solutions to improve efficiency and throughput.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to confirm delivery timelines and manage expectations.
- Generate and present reports on production performance, lead times, and potential risks to stakeholders.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline planning processes and enhance accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all planning activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, inventory control, or supply chain coordination, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong understanding of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and demand forecasting techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a data-driven approach.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
