Responsibility
- Develop and maintain the master production schedule for assigned machines and production lines.
- Coordinate with sales, procurement, and operations teams to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.
- Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to meet deadlines.
- Optimize resource allocation (materials, labor, machinery) to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Analyze production data and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Adjust schedules dynamically in response to changes in demand, supply chain disruptions, or equipment maintenance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production plans, inventory levels, and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or operations within the manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with paper manufacturing processes or similar industries is highly advantageous.
