Responsibility
- Develop and maintain production schedules using SAP PP/DS to align with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure on-time material availability and minimize downtime.
- Monitor and analyze capacity utilization, identifying bottlenecks and proposing process improvements.
- Generate daily/weekly reports on production performance, KPIs, and variance analysis for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with sales and operations planning (S&OP) teams to adjust schedules based on market demand fluctuations.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements in all planning activities.
- Optimize inventory levels to reduce carrying costs while maintaining service levels.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, demand planning, or supply chain within manufacturing.
- Proficient in SAP PP (Production Planning) or SAP IBP; experience with MRP/ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise with global teams.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Just-in-Time (JIT) principles is advantageous.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
