Responsibility
- Lead and manage the production team to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing of high-quality furniture products.
- Develop and implement production schedules, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize productivity and reduce downtime.
- Monitor and enforce quality control standards to ensure all products meet the company’s premium specifications and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with design, procurement, and logistics teams to align production processes with business goals and customer demands.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and waste minimization in the production cycle.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all production staff.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Prepare and present production reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in furniture production or manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control standards.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
