Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the injection molding facility, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of technicians and operators to maximize productivity, efficiency, and skill development.
- Implement and monitor process improvements, lean manufacturing principles, and cost-saving initiatives to enhance operational performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery, tools, and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., QA, Engineering, Logistics) to resolve production bottlenecks and align on project deliverables.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, inventory levels, and maintenance activities for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Enforce strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations to create a zero-incident workplace.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and reduce unplanned stoppages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in injection molding operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of injection molding machines, tooling, and plastic materials, including troubleshooting and process optimization.
- Proven track record in team management, production planning, and quality control within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and data reports.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other industry-specific standards is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and production management software.
