Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily production operations to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to schedules.
- Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency.
- Coordinate with quality control teams to maintain product standards and compliance with industry regulations.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production activities.
- Manage inventory levels, raw materials, and finished goods to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Lead, train, and motivate production staff to achieve performance targets and maintain a safe working environment.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, improve processes, and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production management, preferably in the manufacturing, food processing, or biotechnology industry.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, lean manufacturing, and quality control principles.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and production management software.
- Familiarity with ISO, GMP, or HACCP standards is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
