Responsibility
- Monitor and control chemical production processes to ensure optimal efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and calibration of production equipment, including reactors, pumps, and control systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Collect and analyze process data to identify trends, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., quality assurance, engineering) to resolve production challenges and enhance workflows.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental standards, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Assist in the implementation of new technologies, process upgrades, or automation initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a chemical plant, manufacturing, or industrial production environment.
- Strong knowledge of chemical processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols (e.g., HAZOP, PPE, LOTO).
- Proficiency in using DCS (Distributed Control Systems), PLCs, or SCADA for process monitoring.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ISO, OSHA, or other relevant industry standards is a plus.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Willingness to work in shift-based schedules and adapt to operational demands.
