Responsibility
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure adherence to targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
- Monitor production metrics and KPIs, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for enhancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Logistics) to resolve production bottlenecks and technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in all production activities.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production delays or defects and propose corrective actions.
- Support the introduction of new products or processes, including testing, validation, and documentation.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and equipment operation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production engineering, manufacturing, or a similar role within an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM methodologies is a plus.
- Proficiency in using CAD/CAM software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other quality management standards.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to coordinate with teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in shifts or flexible hours as required by production demands.
