Responsibility
- Develop and implement process optimization strategies to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve yield.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and troubleshoot manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and defects.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma) and customer specifications.
- Design and execute lean manufacturing initiatives (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, TPM) to streamline operations.
- Oversee production planning and scheduling to meet demand while optimizing resource allocation.
- Conduct time-and-motion studies to identify bottlenecks and propose data-driven solutions.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices, safety protocols, and new technologies.
- Monitor KPIs (e.g., OEE, cycle time, scrap rate) and present performance reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production engineering, process improvement, or manufacturing operations.
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills with a track record of delivering measurable results.
- Familiarity with safety regulations (OSHA, EHS) and quality management systems (QMS).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Certifications in PMP, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), or Lean Manufacturing are a plus.
