Responsibility
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to gather and review technical information, including model kits, blueprints, photographs, and product specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Develop and refine product designs based on functional requirements, aesthetic considerations, and manufacturing constraints.
- Conduct thorough analysis of product functions, performance metrics, and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless transition from design to production, addressing any technical challenges that arise during the process.
- Ensure all product designs comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality guidelines.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and production guidelines.
- Participate in prototype development and testing, analyzing results to refine designs and enhance product performance.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and materials in product development to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product development, mechanical design, or a related engineering role.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360) and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and production techniques, including injection molding, CNC machining, and additive manufacturing.
- Experience with prototype development and testing, including familiarity with testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical challenges to develop innovative solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
