Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept ideation to prototyping, testing, and commercialization.
- Collaborate with R&D, design, and manufacturing teams to ensure products meet technical, functional, and sustainability standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to validate product designs and material selections.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including specifications, BOMs, and test reports.
- Optimize product performance, cost-efficiency, and manufacturability using CAD software and simulation tools.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in sustainable materials, circular economy principles, and emerging technologies.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to source eco-friendly materials and components.
- Support compliance testing to ensure products adhere to local and international regulations (e.g., ISO, RoHS).
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Product Design, or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product development, preferably in sustainable or consumer goods industries.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB).
- Strong understanding of material science, manufacturing processes, and DFM (Design for Manufacturing).
- Experience with sustainability frameworks (e.g., LCA, cradle-to-cradle) and eco-design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Passion for innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
