Responsibility
- Design and engineer grid-tied and off-grid solar PV systems, ensuring compliance with local and international standards (IEC, NEC, SNI).
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and energy yield analyses to optimize system performance.
- Develop detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and BOMs for solar projects using AutoCAD or PVSyst.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solar solutions with battery storage, inverters, and smart grid technologies.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of solar systems, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing post-installation support and performance monitoring.
- Stay abreast of emerging solar technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in project designs.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Masterâs degree or PE license is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in solar PV system design, with a portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in PVSyst, AutoCAD, ETAP, or SketchUp for solar design and modeling.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes (NEC, IEC 62446) and Indonesian regulations for renewable energy.
- Strong project management skills, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to system optimization.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali and Indonesia as needed.
