Responsibility
- Source and evaluate potential products from local and international suppliers to align with company goals.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive products.
- Negotiate terms and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery conditions.
- Collaborate with the merchandising and marketing teams to develop product strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Monitor product performance and provide insights to optimize the product portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements for all sourced products.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
- Prepare and present reports on product development activities, market trends, and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product sourcing, procurement, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with suppliers and internal teams.
- Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP or procurement software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
