Responsibility
- Brand Acquisition & Onboarding: Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-potential skincare, beauty, and personal care brands to expand the company’s product portfolio.
- Supplier & Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms.
- Market & Trend Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify consumer trends, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities in the cosmetics industry.
- Product Launch Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product lines, including pricing, promotions, and distribution channels.
- Inventory & Procurement Optimization: Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and ensure timely procurement to minimize shortages and excess inventory.
- Sales & Performance Tracking: Analyze sales data, KPIs, and customer feedback to refine product selections and purchasing strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and logistics teams to align product offerings with brand messaging and operational capabilities.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet regulatory standards, quality benchmarks, and ethical sourcing requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum 3+ years in product buying, procurement, or category management within the cosmetics, beauty, or retail industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of skincare, beauty, and personal care markets, including trends, ingredients, and consumer preferences.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers and vendors.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and market research tools (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics, or ERP systems).
- Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Project Management: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (required); proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications are advantageous.
