Responsibility
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure the best value.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and align strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Lead sourcing initiatives, including RFPs, RFQs, and supplier evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and systems.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industries is a plus.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is an advantage.
