Responsibility
- Process and manage purchase orders in compliance with company policies and supplier agreements.
- Prepare, review, and update payment requests to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
- Handle cash and check disbursements, including acceptance, verification, and deposit coordination.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and vendor communications.
- Collaborate with finance and logistics teams to streamline procurement-to-payment workflows.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement process improvements in procurement operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and experience with ERP or procurement software is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- Familiarity with financial transactions, payment processing, and cash handling is advantageous.
