Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for MRO materials, equipment, and services to meet operational demands.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors while negotiating favorable terms and contracts.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., production, engineering, finance) to forecast procurement needs and align purchasing activities.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and new suppliers for cost-saving opportunities.
- Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve supply chain disruptions proactively.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance for audit and compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline procurement workflows and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or electronics.
- Proven track record in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong knowledge of MRO procurement, inventory management, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and procurement software.
- Familiarity with lean procurement and cost-reduction strategies is a plus.
