Responsibility
- Source and procure raw materials, components, and services in alignment with production and operational needs.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements and cost savings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable supply chains and timely deliveries.
- Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier performance to mitigate risks and optimize procurement strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and reduce excess stock or shortages.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical procurement practices.
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports, including cost analysis, savings tracking, and supplier performance metrics.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure favorable terms and cost savings.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess supplier performance and market trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain vendor relationships.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in managing purchase orders, contracts, and documentation.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
