Responsibility
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., logistics, finance, operations) to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and inventory levels to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of supply.
- Conduct regular supplier audits to assess quality, reliability, and adherence to contractual agreements.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement metrics, cost savings, and process improvements to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics, preferably in manufacturing or international trade.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure cost-effective agreements.
- Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Familiarity with import/export regulations, customs procedures, and international logistics is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
