Responsibility
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost efficiency and supplier performance.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and pricing.
- Manage purchase orders, contracts, and vendor agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand and avoid shortages.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, materials, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance for auditing and reporting.
- Collaborate with finance and logistics teams to streamline procurement processes and reduce lead times.
- Resolve supplier disputes or delivery issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and procurement software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of contract law, inventory management, and cost analysis.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Mandarin) are a plus.
