In this role, you will play a key part in product data management, documentation, and import/export processes, ensuring seamless procurement and compliance with international standards. Responsibility
- Assist in procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing raw materials and products from Japanese suppliers.
- Manage and update product data in ERP systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinate import/export documentation, including customs declarations, invoices, and shipping logs.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels and generate purchase orders to maintain optimal stock for production needs.
- Translate and interpret Japanese business correspondence, contracts, and technical specifications.
- Prepare reports and analyses on purchasing trends, costs, and supplier performance.
- Support compliance audits and ensure adherence to food safety and trade regulations.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese (N2 level or higher) and professional English communication skills.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or logistics, preferably in the food/manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with ERP or procurement software.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural team.
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fields is preferred.
- Willingness to relocate or already based in Bali, Indonesia.
