Responsibility
- Analyze purchasing trends and forecast stock requirements to align with company operational demands.
- Develop and maintain categorized purchase lists to streamline procurement processes.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective contracts and favorable terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (finance, logistics, sales) to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, budget adherence, and inventory turnover.
- Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to ensure business continuity.
- Optimize procurement workflows using data-driven insights and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
- Proven ability to analyze data and generate actionable forecasts for stock requirements.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with a track record of cost savings.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Familiarity with contract-based employment and compliance with procurement regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
