Responsibility
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors to meet operational and project requirements.
- Request, analyze, and compare vendor quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality compliance.
- Collaborate with the operations department to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value for the organization.
- Monitor supplier performance, address issues, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to streamline processes.
- Track market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain risks to make data-driven decisions.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to stakeholders, highlighting savings, efficiencies, and improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and procurement software/tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
- Knowledge of contract law, supplier evaluation, and risk management.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are a plus.
