Responsibility
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines for mechanical engineering projects.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure advantageous agreements.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with company standards and project requirements.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to anticipate supply chain risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to align procurement activities with project goals.
- Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and performance reports.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the mechanical engineering or manufacturing sector.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
