Responsibility
- Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and company policies.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to optimize cost savings and value creation.
- Monitor and manage materials inventory to prevent shortages and excess stock while ensuring timely delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering, finance, and logistics teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Conduct market and spend analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Resolve supplier disputes, delivery delays, or quality issues proactively to minimize project disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, ERP systems, or procurement software).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Knowledge of international procurement regulations, Incoterms, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
